Licensed Doctor of Audiology Joy Pritchett is the president and CEO of Atlanta Hearing Associates. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Speech Pathology and Master's Degree in Audiology from Auburn University and her doctoral degree from Central Michigan University with a concentration in the assessment and rehabilitation of balance disorders.
Dr. Pritchett has been in private practice since 1997 and her clinical specialties include 1) establishing evidence-based guidelines for the fitting of hearing aids, 2) auditory processing tests that are predictive for children who become poor readers, and 3) rehabilitative measures to reverse these processes.
She and her husband of over 30 years have three adult children.
Dr. Pritchett oversees a team of experienced and dedicated audiologists to provide top-notch hearing healthcare to every patient who comes through their doors.
Licensed doctor of audiology Kerry Cohen has extensive experience in improving hearing, promoting hearing conservation from noise exposure and encouraging the use of hearing protection, and increasing public awareness of hearing loss. She works with patients of all ages.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders and Sciences from the State University of New York at Geneseo, her Masters of Science in Audiology from the State University of New York at New Paltz and her clinical Doctorate of Audiology from Salus University.
Dr. Cohen lives in Watkinsville with her husband and children and enjoys the outdoors and family activities.
Licensed doctor of audiology Carmen Wright has served patients at Hearing Associates since 2008. Dr. Wright earned both her bachelor’s degree in Communication Science and Disorders and her Master’s degree in Audiology from the University of Georgia and her Doctorate of Audiology degree from Arizona School of Health Sciences.
She is an advocate for hearing protection when exposed to loud noise. Her specialties include diagnostic evaluations and hearing aid fittings as well as testing and rehabilitating patients suffering from dizziness and vertigo.
Dr. Wright resides in Watkinsville with her husband and children.
