“No, no, no....stay away! I called the VA for a hearing test. They told me that they were backed up and it would be months before they could get me in. The VA told me to reach out to Community Care. Community Care said they could help me right away. They asked me to find someone and if they approved them, they would pay for the test and the hearing aids. I chose Hearing Health Care Center who came highly recommended from some individuals. So, I chose them. I asked them, after testing my ears, did I qualify and would they help me. They showed me slides and said that I needed hearing aids. They tested me several times and finally gave me hearing aids. VA asked them to send some verification and asked me to follow up to make sure they responded. I could get nothing from them nor did the VA. So, I received a letter from VA saying that my hearing had improved, and my 10 percent VA benefit would be reduced to zero the first of April 2024. I asked for an appeal but received no reply from VA, so by the first of April my hearing benefit was reduced to zero. I wrote them and explained that I could hear much better with the hearing aids and also sent buddy letters from my wife and daughter. I would not recommend this hearing center for Veterans. I've had problems with my hearing aids. I cannot get an appointment with them. They told me that they could only see me if they had a cancellation, usually with an hour or two notice. It is an hour drive, or forty miles each way. I went last week hoping to pick up my hearing aid, which they have had for about three months, and when they brought it out it was the wrong one. So, they sent it back and again I am without one aid and have no idea when I will get it back. ”

“I have been a patient at this practice for several years now. Several months ago, I had a sudden loss of hearing in my left hear. Trina Cox confirmed this with an exam and immediately I was put in contact with an ENT who saw me soon afterward. During my treatment with the ENT, Trina called several times to follow-up on my treatment as well as checking on how I was doing. Her compassion and care during this difficult time is something that I will never forget. Only a small portion of my hearing was restored in my left ear and so I was fitted with a different type of hearing aids. I have had follow-up exams to make any necessary adjustments. Trina is extremely thorough in her exams and I have a great deal of confidence that I am receiving the best care possible. I never feel rushed during my exams. The entire office staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. I trust this practice completely with the care of my ears. ”
