Beth is the owner of Sussex Audiology and has over 30 years of experience. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education in Speech Pathology and Audiology and her Master's Degree in Education in Audiology from the University of Virginia. She also spent 14 years in the U.S. Army as an audiologist.

“I am extremely grateful to have found Sussex Audiology. Beth and the staff have been very professional with all my needs. Having hear loss was very frustrating until Beth, as well as her staff helped me . I had gone for a hearing test in the past and was not happy with the way I was treated. But the way I was treated at Sussex Audiology by Beth and the time she spent with me, gave me the trust to believe hope and help for my hearing loss. I travel approximately two and half hours back and forth to Sussex Audiology and they are more then worth it! Professionals, yes, but more like a GOD send. Thank you for all that you do. “Unable to return for annual hearing test due to insensitive customer service. I was not provided with any replacement domes with my $5k hearing aid purchase. A subsequent Amazon purchase of domes yielded the wrong size. Over the phone the owner informed me they would not ship me any replacement domes even though the receptionist said they do not charge for this item. I would have gladly paid shipping! I should have been supplied with a handful of spare domes in the first place along with the $5k purchase of hearing aids. Also, cell phone reception is poor inside the office. When I asked if I could use the phone to briefly contact my employer (i was on call) in case they tried reaching me, I was refused. A simple phone call and some rubber domes were refused when they were making a $5k sale? Come ON. They don't mind paying postage for numerous letters informing me it's time for my next hearing test! I would have stopped in for domes but I was informed on the same call that I needed an ENT for a sinus/ear infection at this time, not the audiologist...a more pressing matter than the domes. Will have to take my annual hearing tests and future device purchases somewhere where the business is appreciated. ”
Received 06/19/2017Official Response from Sussex Audiology Services & Hearing Aid Center, LLC:“I am sorry you were not able to make an appointment in December for your annual hearing test. That is our busiest month as it is the end of the insurance year when people have met their deductibles. We typically are fully booked for annual Hearing tests for December by Thanksgiving. Additionally, we unexpectedly lost our "late" receptionist to full time employment in mid December and had to alter our hours until we could hire and train a new one. The purchase of hearing aids is a process requiring several visits. At the time of the hearing aid fitting, your provider tried to make your follow-up appointment, but you needed to check your schedule and call us back. At that appointment, your provider would have insured you understood the care and maintenance of your hearing aids and provided you with your annual supply of the proper sized domes. She would have also fine tuned your hearing aids. After giving it some thought after we spoke, I did mail you two different sized domes to try and extended the offer of a free hearing aid check appointment to ensure you has everything you needed even though we were beyond the time for free visits. Those types of appointments were indeed available in December. As for the cell phone service, we are in a medical office building that is shielded from digital interference to protect the equipment. Most people are able to make a call or step out of the office. I am sorry that the receptionist did not understand the urgency of your call or we would have tried to find you an available phone to use. ”
