Annette Burton,
Au.D., CCC-A, FAAA,

Audiologist

Dr. Burton, is the director of the program and is board certified in audiology.  She received her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from the University of Connecticut and her Doctor of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Health Sciences. She has been an audiologist for over 25 years and was recently awarded the Presidential Award from the American Academy of Audiology for her contributions to the profession. She enjoys working with both children and adults.  She practices in the Waterbury and Southbury locations.

Audiologist

Dr. Phipps is board certified in audiology. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Connecticut and her Doctor of Audiology degree from Northeastern University. She currently practices in the Southbury and Waterbury locations.

Audiologist

Dr. Yanagisawa is board certified in audiology.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Tufts University, her Master’s degree from Southern Connecticut State University, and her Doctor of Audiology degree from the A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Health Sciences.  Dr. Yanagisawa has over 20 years of audiology experience and has worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, physicians’ offices, a private practice and a university clinic.  She has a very loyal following of patients, including many who have followed her to various locations during her career.  Dr. Yanagisawa enjoys working with both children and adults.  She currently practices in the Waterbury office.

Audiologist

Dr. Hauser is board certified in audiology. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Chicago and her Doctor of Audiology degree from Vanderbilt University. Dr. Hauser enjoys working with patients of all ages, her specialties include cochlear implant evaluations and programming.  She currently practices in the Meriden and Waterbury locations.

The Easterseals Center for Better Hearing is a non-profit practice that has served the Greater Waterbury area since 1969. The Easterseals Center for Better Hearing is open to the general public and we treat all persons from under 1 to over 100.

Our highly skilled audiologists conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine the nature of a person’s hearing difficulties. For hearing loss that cannot be medically or surgically corrected, we provide hearing aids, as well as, practical information on what to really expect from hearing technology.
