Audiologist/Co-Owner

I went to school at Northwestern University for my undergraduate degree and Au.D. I completed my clinical externship at UCSF Medical Center, then worked in private practice in Chicago before joining the clinical faculty at Northwestern University’s on-campus clinic. I served as a preceptor for Au.D. students, focusing on adult diagnostics and treatment, tinnitus management, and hearing conservation. I also taught ethics in audiology courses and oversaw an amplification lecture series. My favorite thing about Pacific Hearing Service is the dynamic and supportive team environment that always puts the patient first, with the dedication to using evidence-based practice in our everyday protocols. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking and biking.

“My late father was a customer of Pacific Hearing, and I observed the great care he got back then. Now it is my turn to deal with a hearing deficiency, and I had no hesitation to go to Pacific Hearing. I have been working with Dr. Otto, and she has been outstanding at diagnosing my issues and recommending an array of proper remedies. Because I am (I am embarrassed to say) self-conscious about wearing hearing devices, I am experimenting with the Lyric deep-in-ear devices. For now, it appears that they will meet my needs nicely, but they are not necessarily the best solution for everyone. Pacific Hearing is great, and all the staff there are cordial, capable people. ”

“Brooke is just wonderful. First of all she has kindness, which is rare in our days to see. People are usually occupied trying to make money and just doing their jobs briefly. She's very attentive and very compassionate, which is quite important with what she's doing helping disabled people. She is very professional. Whatever questions we had, she would definitely put her time even if it was extra time to find - I mean outside of out visit, she found the time to give us specific information that my brother needs. So she's fabulous. Five stars is not enough, I would give her 55. I wish more specialists were like her. ”
