Colorado River Hearing Centers - Bullhead City

“A Nightmare and a waist of time. Set up an appt with Colorado River Hearing for February 28th and then was called that morning and told they had to postpone till the next day because the provider did not come in. Went in the next day had hearing test and then was told the recommendation would be submitted to my insurance. The following day my insurance called to tell me they received the request and it was in process. Called my insurance the following Monday for an update as had heard not heard from the provider. Was told that the providers license had expired on 2/28 and they were awaiting for the updated credentials. No contact from the provider. Received 3 cc emails a week apart from the insurance to the provider stating they were still waiting for the updated credentials. Just a note when I visited this provider he and the office were told that we would only be in this area for at the most 6 weeks. After the 3 notification and no contact from the provider I cancelled the request due to lack of time in the area. This was very frustrating and disappointing. The provider could have at the beginning notified me of the possible delay instead of telling me it should be done in the time frame I had explained we had. Very bad customer service and communication by the provider. Make sure you check to see if the providers license is up to date before setting an appointment. Thank goodness for the great communication from my insurance.”

“I visited CRHC two days after a visit with another hearing care provider and the experience was night and day. Mr. Borland was very pleasant right from the start and seemed to genuinely be interested in my hearing concerns. The testing he provided seemed to me to be more in-depth. Also, his staff had called my insurance during my testing and by the time testing was done, they knew what my insurance would cover and how much was left on my annual deductible (The other place essentially shut me down when I tried to discuss my insurance). When discussing different models, he actually recommended against the most expensive, top-tier device. He listened to all of my concerns. I decided to go with the devices he recommended and was able to watch him personalize them to my “hearing profile.” As soon as He placed them, I could hear a definite improvement - I honestly felt on the verge of tears and would have been ready to fully pay my balance. He didn’t even consider payment telling me to wear them until my one-week follow-up - if they didn’t perform or I decided they are not for me, no obligation to buy. This said a lot about his commitment and confidence in his product offering. Realizing I’ve been using them for less than 24-hours at this point, I still can say that I am 110% satisfied and amazed!”
