About this hearing center
Nova Hearing Center is an independent hearing aid and hearing protection retailer with its flagship office located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Our specialists are licensed in Virginia and North Carolina, allowing us to help people on both sides of the state line. We are the only hearing specialist to be locally owned and operated by a veteran. Our goal is to provide affordable premium hearing solutions without the standard markup offered by “big box” retailers. Many hearing aids centers throughout Hampton Roads and Northeast NC must significantly mark up their hearing devices to pay for franchise fees, provider networks, corporate overhead and more. As an independent hearing aid practice, we have none of those costs, and we can pass the savings on to you. We are determined to give our neighbors more affordable hearing solutions.
Hearing care services
Free hearing evaluations: Patients often tell us we give the most thorough assessment they've ever had, but we feel we owe that level of care to our patients.
Free hearing aid consultations: If you're considering hearing aids we're happy to talk to you about your options and what you can expect without us ever pushing you into buying anything.
Hearing aids: We work with five major manufacturers to offer a wide range of hearing aids, including over-the-ear and custom fit.
Free hearing aid adjustments and cleanings: For the life of your hearing aid, you'll never have to pay for regular maintenance or adjustments.
Hearing aid repairs: We're able to do some repairs in-office, often free of charge. Sometimes though, we may not be able to repair your hearing aids ourselves and we’ll need to send them to the manufacturer.
CROS system hearing aids: For patients with single-sided hearing, CROS hearing aids are designed for you to experience sound all around you.
Tinnitus management: If you have problems with tinnitus (ringing in the ears), we can go over your options for treatment.
Real-ear verification: We want you to have the best possible experience with your hearing aids. Real-ear verification is the most effective means of determining whether your hearing aids are working as well as they should be.
Custom earplugs and in-ear monitors: We are big believers in the importance of hearing protection, so we provide custom-fit earplugs as well as in-ear monitors for musicians and music lovers.
Home visits: For patients within a 30-mile radius we offer occasional home visits. If you aren’t able to make it into our office, then we will come to you.
Caption Call: We offer caption call, which is a free service that only requires internet.
Telecare: We offer remote telecare for those who need it.
Friends & family Referral Program: Receive a $50 benefit per ear for someone you refer and yourself!
