Jim Stobaugh is a licensed hearing instrument specialist with more than twenty years of demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care with a strong sense of caring for his patients’ needs. He is nationally board certified in hearing instrument sciences and has knowledge and experience with a variety of hearing products.

Our main goal is to provide you with the best possible hearing care solution based on your individual needs.

Our Cortez office is located in the Petersen Medical building, down the road from Southwest Memorial Hospital. We offer plenty of free parking.
Hearing care services
Our services include:
- Hearing tests: Pure tone audiometry tests, a range of sounds that are played into one ear at a time. Word recognition test (also called speech discrimination test) determines how much speech a person recognizes when background noise is present.Tympanometry testing can identify issues such as earwax impaction, perforated eardrum, ossicle bone damage or middle-ear tumors.
