“Find a different practice. Inflexible staff. Practice owner, Jonathan Ayers, refused to accommodate a working schedule of a nurse in the middle of a pandemic (not the first time). They offered a 9-11am window on a Tuesday to replace my Lyrics. I explained I worked during those hours, but I could come at 830 am. Not only did he refuse to replace my lyrics he terminated my contract, leaving me stranded and unable to hear….in the middle of a pandemic. How am I supposed to take care of my patients when I can’t hear them?! ”
“I recently saw Dr. Michael Lynch at the Marlton office. Everyone there was very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Lynch explained the test he was going to do and afterwards explained the results and answered all my questions, as well as my husbands. He then explained that before I think about getting hearing aids I should first check to see if there was any medical reason for my hearing loss. There was no pressure to put me right into hearing aids. This, to me, was a very professional person. After I have everything checked out, I will definitely go back to him.”
“Very disappointed with the service, questioned the $300.00 deposit that had to be made at the time of service and was told it had been waived, my account was however charged, unable to recover the charge. ”
Received 07/11/2017Official Response from Associates in Hearing HealthCare - Marlton:“Thank you Ms. Griffin for sharing your feedback. I appreciate the time you have taken to reach out to AHHC. It appears that there has been considerable miscommunication between your mother and me. I apologize for not being more easily understood. The $300.00 charge is a deposit that is applied to the cost of the hearing aids, not a fee for using a pair of demo aids, this is put in place until your mother’s hearing aids are fit. I offered the use of the demo aids as a service so that your mother could enjoy the benefit of hearing well, as soon as possible. Our office policy is to refund deposits cancelled within a 3 day period and, therefore, we will happily refund her deposit. Despite the miscommunication, your story has a happy ending in that your mother is hearing better, meeting a goal that we all share. Thank you again for your feedback. Namita Gehani, AuD”
“I have a long distance to come to the center, but it never presents a problem for me. The staff is always very accommodating and always meet my needs with time, patience and a smile. ”
