Dr. Kathy Mellott, Doctor of Audiology, has been an audiologist for more than 30 years. She obtained her Bachelor's of Arts in Hearing and Speech Sciences from University of Maryland, College Park, in 1976 and her Master's of Science in Audiology from Towson University in 1977. Her Clinical Fellowship Year in Audiology was obtained through the Washington County, MD Public Schools. In 1981, Dr. Mellott obtained a Residency in Medical Audiology from Duke University Medical Center, Durham, NC. She worked at The Denver Children's Hospital before moving back to the Washington, DC area to develop the Neurotology Unit at Suburban Hospital, Bethesda, MD. In 1986, she accepted a faculty position in the Otolaryngology Department at Georgetown University Medical Center.

Audiology Unlimited and College Park Hearing Services work with about a dozen hearing aid manufacturers to provide many options for our patients. All hearing aids dispensed are digital and programmable. Most hearing aids are essentially invisible in the ear.
Dr. Mellott provides state-of-the-art amplification systems and is knowledgeable in technology for using hearing aids with television, telephones, cell phones and other electronic devices.
