Dr. Shannon Frugia earned her Master's degree in Audiology at Lamar University and her Doctor of Audiology from the University of Florida. In addition, she has served as President of the Lions' International District 2-S1 Hearing Aid Recycling Program, as well as the District Hearing and Speech Chair. Her specialties include the assessment of hearing loss and its treatment through amplification including with cochlear implants and Baha implants. With two decades of experience, she is confident in her abilities to improve the quality of life for people suffering from hearing impairments by providing the highest quality patient care.
Audiologist Dr. Brytni Borel earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders and her Doctorate in Audiology from Lamar University. She also holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association. Her areas of interest are the diagnostic evaluation and rehabilitation of those with hearing loss utilizing state of the art technology.
Dr. Joni Ruiz earned her Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders and her Doctorate in Audiology degree from Lamar University. Although a native of Mauriceville, Dr. Ruiz served a internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. where she evaluated and treated service members returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. Her specialties include the evaluation and treatment of tinnitus. Dedicated to helping those with hearing loss improve their hearing and the quality of life, she provides compassionate, personalized care.
