“Dr. Franciotti helped me select a new set of hearing aids. She was very knowledgeable and insightful. She made every effort to accommodate my hearing challenges. I would recommend her without reservation. Thanks.”
“Lara and Nicola were professional and caring in their exam and subsequent recommendations. They addressed my financial concerns also and helped me make a decision. I am grateful for the opportunity for follow-up visits if needed and also appreciate their weekly visits to my retirement facility for those visits.”
“I have been a patient at MLAC for 20 years. Over the years, Dr. Goodman, with kindness, patience and a wealth of experience has helped me choose several hearing aids and fit and programmed them to meet my very complicated hearing needs. From time to time, she has not been available and I have needed to see another audiologist to address a problem. When you call MLAC with a problem, there's always an experienced audiologist available to see you, most often that same day. Each and every one of them has been absolutely wonderful. Most recently, I have worked with Nicola Glover- Her patience, sensitivity, and knowledge of the hearing instrument as well as the TV Streamer and hearing aid phone Apps are amazing! I'm grateful for all their help. ”
“On June 13, 2019 I purchased Phonak Audeo from Mainline Audiology Consultants PC. Dr. Bixler was very professional in testing the severity of my hearing loss. Shortly after I began using the new hearing aids I had a problem with one of them which was not working properly. I took it back for repair and was told that it had been sent back to the manufacturer. Surprisingly enough the manufacturer immediately replaced the defective hearing aid and evidently it was cheaper to do this than to try to repair it or it was not able to be repaired. I was disappointed that (1) I lost confidence in the reliability of the hearing aid and (2) in reading my purchase agreement with Mainline Audiology I realized that there was a 3-year loss and damage policy which required a replacement onetime only. There is also a deductible charged for replacement per hearing device. I went back to Dr. Bixler to try and return the hearing aids within the 30-day timeframe I was given to finalize the purchase. Unfortunately, the date that I wrote down as the last date to return them was 3 days after the actual date. I don’t know how I made this mistake, perhaps because in December 2018 I suffered a hemorrhagic stroke. Dr. Bixler was very firm that I had exceeded the timeframe to test the hearing aids. On Friday September 20th I had a problem with my left hearing aid that sounded as if running water were echoing in my ear all day. I also noticed that when I put my left hand under my left chin to do the morning crossword puzzles there is a constant beep in the hearing aid. In addition on Saturday September 21st I discovered that my right hearing aid will not recharge at all. I tried recharging in the L and R side of the chargeable device to no avail. That Saturday, I called and left a message for Dr. Bixler but have not had any response to date.”
“Purchased Oticon hearing aids. Love them - I often forget that I am wearing hearing aids - they are so comfortable. Sorry I waited so long - they have definitely improved my quality of life.”
