“Dr. Freed took the time to give me a comprehensive hearing evaluation. It appears that over the years my ability to hear has decreased. Upon his analysis of my condition he recommened a set of hearing aids that improved my hearing ability at the higher spectrum. Now I was also so very pleased with Sharon Phillip, his assistant who spent a considerable time with me making adjustments to the level that the sound from the aids is a so very close to the same sounds without the aid. Furthermore, she fitted me with the most comfortabe "buds" for my ears that I no longer wish to pull them out of my ears. To conclude my hearing has improved since the aids are working better and the fit in the ears is no longer a distriction. I also must include the the two ladies at reception. They are kind, warm and highly professional.”
“Recently I found out I have Tinnitus. I have visited 3 ENT doctors and their diagnosis was stress and just live with it because there is no medication for T. I was more depressed after leaving their offices. Then I went to see Dr. Hal Freed and he has a very pleasant and friendly personality not like other typical doctors. He performed all the tests and provided me recommendations and for the first time I feel there is hope. This gives me positive attitude to face the challenge to manage my T. ”
“I called the Bayside Office help. I am a client. My question was that I wanted to replace the installed microphone with a new one. All I wanted to know was the replacement tab blue or black for the proper replacement for my hearing aid. I have the blue and black tabs my aid is the Oticon Alta2Pro. They could not answer my question and an office appointment was required . You sell hearing aides and distribute supplies for this device and an appointment is needed for the answer. What even made this experience even worse, they hung up on me! ”
“It was my first visit and I must say I was extremely satisfied. Great service. Friendly staff. Dr. Hal Freed has a personality that was down to earth. I felt very comfortable explaining my loss of hearing situation to him. His recommendation was a very small hearing aid which is not noticeable to other people. I was concerned about that. LOL. Good service and a friendly staff goes a long way these days because those things are hard to find. :) ”
“Hal Freed explained everything in a very special way, I'm very happy! I went back after a year to get the battery charging unit with the batteriees used for that system. I was in and out of the Bayside NY office thanks to the professional way Kimberley and Sharon handled my situation. ”
