“My husband waited over 6 months just to be told his order has been cancelled. They were very rude and nasty. Avoid this place at all costs.”
“I am a Canadian on vacation my hearing aids stopped working. I stopped by the office and was greeted with Aloha. The manager asked if I could wait as the Dr. was with a patient. In a few moments I was ushered into the Dr's office and he did an inspection and some adjustments and handed me my hearing aids back working like new. Wow what nice professional staff. They would be my choice to deal with in Hilo.”
“The services I received from the Big Island Hearing Center have been nothing less than outstanding. Having experienced a total unexpected hearing loss in my ear and working with the Veterans Administration, Tripler AMC and Big Island Hearing Center to complete a multitude of tests and medical procedures I just received my set of hearing aids and am totally satisfied with the entire procedure. The entire office staff, Sonia the office manager and Mary Banser, audiologist were very professional, courteous, personable and could not have provided better service. The entire process from the hearing loss to receiving the hearing aids takes a while because of the agencies involved in the entire process, coordination and scheduling. All in all, I am totally satisfied with the super assistance and detailed guidance regarding all procedures as well as the operation/care of the device itself I received. Dr. Ching and his Hilo staff are commended for the unique and outstanding services they provide to their patients. Semper Fi, Bill F.”
“Receptionist (elderly lady) is very rude on the phone as well as in person. I tried to explain what I needed done and she tells me if I need a base-line. I told her I am not a doctor and don't know what she is talking about and if she would have listen, she should know what I needed, upon informing her of it she hung up. The following day I visited the office, I handed her the test papers I needed to get done. She ask who refered me and I tried to explain that I am there on my own. She continue not to listen and try to tell me I should have a referal, once again she refuse to listen. After trying to explain that she should listen, she ask what's my name. Upon telling her who I was, she shove the paper saying she doesn't do the test and pointing finger at me saying that I am the rude person. I guess she acts that way due to the fact the doctors are the only audiologist in Hilo.”
“I like how they were very caring and and their professionalism. ”
