Julie has worked as a licensed dispensing audiologist and hearing device specialist in Los Angeles and Orange Counties since 1995. After a decade of working in hospital and clinical non-profit organizations, she purchased the Anaheim Hearing Center, Hear For Life, a full-service hearing care practice established in 1984. She is skilled in a full-range of audiological diagnostic services, up-to-date hearing device technology, in-house hearing device repairs and services, and is very excited by the aural rehabilitative process of helping people hear better. Julie is a contracted provider with the St. Jude Heritage Healthcare IPA.
This provider participates in the following insurance and discount plans: NEI, Prime Health, UAW, Harmony Hearing, VA Choice, Homelink, Hearing Care Solutions, OCCM, AARP-HearUSA, Federal Employee Program, Advanced Hearing Providers and MCAS.
Gabby has worked at the Anaheim Hearing Center since 2005. She has moved her way up in the office from a part-time front office person to an indispensable Audiology Assistant. She is proficient at cleaning and servicing all hearing devices and assistive listening devices. She is an instinctive trouble-shooter, taking the time to first listen to the patient's concerns and then taking the device to her well-stocked workbench and figuring out what can be done to solve the problem.

“As someone who recently turned 50, I've struggled with some moderate hearing loss for a few years and finally buckled down (with the gracious and kind nudging of my wife of 28 years) and got a hearing test and it was suggested I get hearing aids. Shopping for hearing aids felt like I was shopping for a car. I went to Julie and sought her expertise regarding which hearing aids to purchase. After chatting with her, she highly recommended the Oticon Opn brand. I decided to go with the Oticon Opn 3 miniRITE hearing aids. I've had them for almost a week and I'm floored how much my hearing has improved and that I'm hearing those I love "crystal clear." The other part that I love is that I can stream my music and take phone calls via blue tooth through them. If you're a techy person, you'll love the app that Oticon puts out. It's simple and allows for you to control the hearing aids in different noise environments. Thank you Julie for your help!!! My wifey thanks you too!!!! P.S. For my fellow dudes out there. Get the hearing test, get the help you need to be able to hear the ones you love and work with. You won't be sorry. :-) Contact Julie for the support and wisdom you need to getting on a path of being able to hear well!!! ”
“I purchased the NEW OPN 1 MiniRite about a month ago and I am so pleased with the improvements over the last Oticon hearing aids. The sound pickup is indeed 30% better. The Added bonus was the ConnectClip, remote volume control, program changer and External Microphone that has a range of up to 65 feet. The sound quality is sharp so you won’t miss anything that is being said by a speaker. Even young children. The Bluetooth connection is quick and automatic when your iPhone or iPad is in Bluetooth “on”. Streaming high fidelity speech sound or music directly to your hearing aids. So much easier than the previous model. By the way the previous Oticon model was the best I have ever had and I have been wearing hearing aids since 1974. The fact that the chip can be upgraded over time is another plus. Anaheim Hearing with Julie Ball, Gabby for tech help and the entire staff give you what other “Hearing aid dispensers” do not. Patient, careful, expert advice for your particular hearing loss and profession needs. These hearing aids are top of the line to me. They are worth every penny that they cost. ”
“I have been going to Julie Ball since she was working for St. Jude Heritage, at her hearing business Euclid & Crescent and now her business in Anaheim on Harbor Blvd. This involves many years of hearing aid tests, advice, purchasing proper hearing aids and the proper use and maintenance. Her staff are wonderful to work with and when you go there, you become family. Honest, reliable and always with a smile. ”
“Julie is great. My mother is 100 years old and Julie and her staff are patient. They listen to her concerns and address them in a way she understands and is comfortable with. Would recommend her and staff highly.”
“Anaheim hearing was wonderful. They have a knowledgeable and friendly staff. When I got my hearing aids all my questions were answered and there was a hands on session to make sure I was able to properly use my new hearing aids. I felt very comfortable and satisfied I made the right choice in using Anaheim hearing. Happy customer!”
