Kevin Still,

Doctor of Audiology

Kevin received his Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida, with clinical training at Shands Hospital in Gainesville.  After graduating from Harvard University, he worked with the Deafblind Center at Perkins School for the Blind, Helen Keller’s alma mater.  There, he was introduced to the use of assistive technologies for those with communication disorders.  After relocating to Portland, Oregon, he continued working with people with disabilities at the Oregon Institute on Disability and Development, completing his audiology education as a Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disorders (LEND) Fellow.  Kevin has had experience working with children with hearing loss at Tucker Maxon School for the Deaf, providing clinical and surgical support for hearing devices with MED-EL Corporation and Cochlear Americas, and providing medical diagnostics and amplification with Mount Scott ENT.  He is delighted to have a new audiology home with Palmetto Hearing Healthcare and the AudPractice Group.     Having grown up in Atlanta, Kevin is happy to be back in the South.  Since relocating to South Carolina during the pandemic, he has provided hearing exams to Veterans and taught middle-school math in Charleston County.  He lives in Mount Pleasant with his wife Sandy and is the proud father of a precocious spitfire named Judy, a Bahamian Potcake named Cassie, and a deaf Boxer named Spud.  He loves performing and recording on the drum set, cooking for his family and friends, spending time in and around the ocean, and occasionally losing to Judy in chess.
