Kristen Kowalski, Au.D., received her undergraduate from Michigan State University in 2007. In 2011, she earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from Wayne State University. Dr. Kowalski completed her externship training at the University of Michigan Health System in 2011. After graduation, she joined the University of Michigan Health System’s Division of Audiology as a clinical audiologist working in the pediatric and adult hospitals and clinics. Most recently, Dr. Kowalski developed an audiology clinic for the MidMichigan Health System in Alpena, Michigan, serving patients of all ages from seven northern Michigan counties. Her specialized areas of interest include auditory processing disorders, tinnitus, cognitive health/dementia, adult aural rehabilitation, and pediatric evaluation and management.

“I was given an appointment immediately and even though I had to change it, it was handled quickly. Kaley did the Epley maneuver and I felt immediate relief from my vertigo, the same result I had in April. (Thank you very much Kaley) I also had a hearing test which was conducted quickly as well. I have another appointment next month if needed. Altogether a very satisfying experience. ”

Hearing care services
The services offered at Great Lakes ENT include speech and swallowing disorders, minimally-invasive balloon sinus procedures, skin lesions of the head and neck, and other medical and surgical treatment of the ears, nose and throat. Great Lakes Hearing Professionals offer diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing aid dispensing and servicing, custom hearing protection, tinnitus management and treatment of dizziness and vertigo.
