Charis Yip is pleased to be part of the staff at HearingLife. She previously worked with a number of highly experienced physicians, and has been helping the hearing-impaired community for the past 10 years.Charis received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology in 2005 from California State University, East Bay, and her Master of Science in Audiology degree from the University of Hong Kong in 2010. She is licensed by the State of California in hearing aid dispensing.Her greatest reward is watching her clients’ eyes light up when being fitted with hearing aids for the first time. She is touched by their reactions when they find themselves hearing their loved ones once again. This impact is so meaningful to her as she continues to provide outstanding services to the hearing-impaired in her community.
Marsha-Gaye Allen,

Marsha-Gaye Allen, Au.D., CCC-A, received her Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from the University of South Florida. She moved to California from Florida in 2019 for her fourth year audiology residency. During her residency, she worked with pediatric and adult patients providing a variety of hearing healthcare services. Her professional interests include diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss, patient education, and hearing technology. Marsha-Gaye has been a licensed audiologist and has her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A), awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), since the summer of 2020.
Ritchie Blanco,

Ritchie Blanco is a Bay Area native who graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from California State University, East Bay. Since then, he has been involved in the hearing healthcare field, helping those experiencing hearing difficulties. A licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser, Ritchie is proficient working with both culturally and linguistically diverse clients and their families. He is passionate about restoring the quality of life of those with hearing loss by helping them communicate with the world around them. Prior to joining HearingLife, Ritchie provided care at hearing aid centers throughout the Bay Area, helping to provide the gift of better hearing.

“I have had my hearing aids for 16 months and have had both hearings aids repaired. Also the hearing aids they gave me as loaners for not hold a charge. I am very disappointed with the product and the quality of service. My hearing aids were very expensive and I thought since they were expensive they would work for many years before needing to be repaired. The staff has turned over in the 16 months I have been a client and this has been disappointing as well.”
