Allison Vaughn joined HearingLife (formerly Avada Audiology and Hearing Care) in January of 2000, where she first started as a Patient Care Coordinator. After years of studying, Allison became a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist.
Allison has received 12 national awards for her excellent patient care while at Avada. She has been recognized as one of the best Hearing Instrument Specialist in the nation. Allison cares for over 1400 individuals with hearing loss in the Rocky Mount area alone.
Allison says, “My experience with the hearing impaired has been lifelong. I grew up with a hearing impaired parent and that has helped me tremendously in dealing with my patients on a daily basis. It has helped me understand what a hearing-impaired person faces in their everyday life.” She states, “My mission is simply to serve the hearing impaired with the highest degree of professionalism, technology and service available. My main goal is to enhance the quality of their life through their improved hearing. It is so rewarding when a patient or family member calls, writes or stops by the office to let me know how much they’re enjoying life now that they’re able to hear once again.”
Allison currently resides in Wilson, North Carolina with her husband Jeff and their two sons, Nicholas and Chance.
