Dr. Megan Johnson and her husband, Derek, opened Johnson Audiology in the fall of 2009. They set out to build a team of professionals dedicated to improving patients' success with hearing aids.
Dr. Johnson obtained her BS degree (Communication Disorders) from Western Carolina University, Master's degree in Audiology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Doctoral Degree in Audiology (AuD) from the University of Florida. Dr. Johnson holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She is board certified by the American Board of Audiology (ABA).
Dr. Johnson volunteers her services at local assisted living facilities and provides educational seminars at senior centers. Dr. Johnson specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of hearing loss and tinnitus. She can service and clean all brands of hearing aids. Dr. Johnson is nationally accredited and certified with the most recent advances in hearing aid technology.
Dr. Lydia Dudney attended Brentwood Academy and The University of Tennessee. After graduating Summa Cum Laude with her doctorate in Audiology, she joyfully married her high-school sweetheart, Taylor. They resided in Knoxville, TN for nearly a decade but recently moved back to their hometown of Nashville with their dog, Scout. Dr. Dudney holds her certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), is a board certified audiologist through the American Board of Audiology (ABA), and is a fellow with the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). She believes that sound enriches lives through improved communication with loved ones and appreciation for the many wonderful sounds in our world. Dr. Dudney also has a passion for music, dance, and the outdoors.
