“ Like so many other reviewers, I am exceptionally pleased with the level of care I have received from Michelle and Ben. Although the Oticon hearing aids that Michelle recommended represent my first encounter with hearing aids, they are comfortable, easy to care for, and the way I experience sound feels very natural - definitely keepers! However, because I play a digital piano, I found that my hearing aids pick up sound artifacts when I play a certain range of notes in various voices. From my piano dealer I learned this is not an unusual phenomenon that occurs between hearing aids and digital pianos. Adjusting the hearing aids to eliminate the artifacts requires a great deal of skill, patience and finesse - all qualities Ben appears to have in abundance. Realizing and understanding that programing and balancing the sound is a very delicate technical dance, so far I've had about 8 adjustment appointments with more to come. We're definitely getting closer but the adjustment(s) still needs a bit of tweaking. This brings us to my only complaint about Solinsky Centers - all of their offices are spread out on the WEST side of the river. Patients/customers living on the EAST side have no convenient location(s) within a reasonable driving distance. In my case the nearest office is a 50-55 minute drive - one way. That is a pretty big time investment ! When the time comes for new hearing aids, I hope to be able to find an equally excellent doctor and technician closer to home. ”

“Dr. Coburn has been wonderful to work with and has helped me enormously with my hearing issues. She goes out of her way to be helpful and supportive and makes you feel that you are the most important client she will deal with. She encourages questions and takes the time to answer them no matter how mundane they may be. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking assistance with hearing issues.”

“Dr. Colburn is caring and helpful, yet very professional. She’s an expert with the many apps, tools and techniques for hearing measurement/fitting, so she can really focus on meeting client preferences and needs. Very glad to be in her practice. ”

“Dr. Colburn is second to none in the practice of audiology and hearing aid fitting. As a hearing aid user of over 50 years, and a professional working with people with hearing loss for 4 decades, let me say that she is a gem. Her intellectual creativity and flexibility is most appreciated as I can be audiologically difficult to fit. Her support staff is outstanding, pleasant, and accommodating schedule-wise; not always the case elsewhere, and collectively these are important factors in having a truly responsive and professional practice. Thank you and kudos!”
