Curtis J. Whitcomb
Licensed doctor of audiology Curtis Whitcomb has been helping people hear their best since 1984. He is honored to serve as the Director of Audiology at Treasure Valley Hearing & Balance. Dr. Whitcomb earned a Master of Science degree in audiology from Idaho State University and his Doctorate in Audiology from A.T. Still University. He has been a Fellow in the American Academy of Audiology since 1990. Outside of the office, Dr. Whitcomb loves spending time with his family and church community, as well as serving as a member of Bugles Across America, where he is often called upon to honor our fallen veterans by playing "Taps" for military funerals.

Audiology technician Denice Sawin has served the patient of Treasure Valley Hearing and Balance since 2006. She earned her Audiologist Assistant Certificate from Nova Southeastern University and strives to help every patient hear their best. As a family-oriented person, Denice appreciates the team atmosphere at Treasure Valley. Denice's hobbies include spending quality time together with her ever-growing family enjoying the great outdoors.
Patient Care Coordinator and Insurance Specialist Lisa Talik came to Treasure Valley Hearing and Balance after serving patients in the dental industry for over 25 years. She understands first-hand how hearing loss can impact families and loves helping others hear better. She works hard to help every patient feel welcome and enjoy the benefits of better hearing. When she isn't working, Lisa can usually be found biking, hiking, fishing, and cheering on Boise State and the Seattle Seahawks with her active family.
Jacquie Elcox immigrated to America as a child in 1971 and was raised predominately in Boise. While studying Speech and Hearing Pathology at Northwest Nazarene College, she was presented with an opportunity to start Treasure Valley Hearing & Balance Clinic. An entrepreneur at heart, she jumped at this opportunity.
Early on, Jacquie manufactured her own brand of hearing aids and over the next 17 years, grew her hearing care practice to include two more locations as well as multiple service centers throughout Treasure Valley. She is Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences.
In addition to managing the practice, Jacquie enjoys playing golf, traveling, working in her garden and spending time with her family.
