Doctor of Audiology Amy Sapodin earned her Doctorate Degree in Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences, her Master Degree in Audiology from Queens College, City University of New York, and her Bachelors Degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences from State University of New York at Buffalo. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech Hearing Language Association, a NY State Audiology License and a NY State Hearing Aid Dispensing License. She and Dr. Hoffman lead a team of highly-qualified and experienced audiologists and hearing instrument specialists to provide all of their patients with optimal care.
Dr. Alison Hoffman earned her Doctorate in Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences as well as her master's degree in audiology from Hofstra University. Prior to that, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences from Queens College, City University of New York. She holds a certificate of clinical competency in Audiology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association. Her professional memberships include the American Academy of Audiology as well as the American Speech Language Hearing Association. She holds NY state audiology and hearing aid dispensing licenses.
When I graduated Hunter College with a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, I had no idea I would end up making a difference in people’s lives every day.
Since graduating with my doctorate in Audiology, I have found my passion and it is through the Advanced Hearing Center that I’ve been able to channel that passion into making a difference. Through specializing in diagnostics and the fitting of the adult population with amplification, I am able to wake up every day and give back to the community that I so love.
Patricia Salamone joined our practice in February 2012. She received her Bachelor of Science and Master’s degree from Adelphi University here on Long Island. Patricia maintains professional memberships in both American Speech Language and Hearing Association and the American Academy of Audiology.
She is certified in Audiology as well as licensed in New York State as a hearing aid dispenser. Patricia specializes in diagnostic audiology and the evaluation, selection and fitting of digital hearing aids in the adult population.
Licensed doctor of audiology Sara Bozsik earned her Doctorate in Audiology from the Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences Program at the University of Connecticut. Before that, she earned her Bachelor of Sciences in Communicative Disorders from the University of Rhode Island.
Dr. Bozsik developed holds a comprehensive skillset in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss.
As a native New Yorker, Dr. Bozsik is passionate about providing quality hearing healthcare to the people of the city. Her goal is to understand and meet each person's individual needs on their journey to better hearing.
Leigh Ann Sauerbier
Dr. Leigh Ann Sauerbier holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Sciences and Disability Studies from Hofstra University. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Audiology from St. John’s University, of the Long Island Au.D. Consortium. She completed clinical rotations with the Veteran's Administration and otolaryngology medical offices.
Dr. Sauerbier is licensed to dispense hearing aids in both New York and New Jersey. She holds her Certification of Clinical Competencefrom the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
Dr. Sauerbier is committed to bringing the highest level of knowledge, compassion and care to the people she serves. Her mission is to help people shatter their preconceived notions about hearing aids, and spread the word that hearing care is health care.
