Before you head out to the local hearing aid center, make sure to check Healthy Hearing's clinic reviews to see if any patient comments have been posted for clinics in your community. Not only are they are honest, unbiased views of the service real patients have received — but Healthy Hearing's five-star ranking system will give you the insight you need to make an informed decision of whom to trust with your hearing health.

Healthy Hearing offers an extensive directory of
clinics with real patient reviews and ratings!

The clinic review section is easy to navigate. Simply type in your zip code and locate the listing of hearing clinics in your area. Once you've accessed the listing, look above the green details button to see if any reviews are available, then click on the green tab or review tab to learn more.

We've been collecting our patient reviews since May 2012, in addition to updating clinic information and features. Not only do patients write personal experiences at clinics, they can rank their service on a scale of one to five, with one star indicating a low score and five the highest. Each review is screened by a Healthy Hearing staff member for personal patient information before each review appears on the website. We also check to make sure the comments are genuine, free from derogatory or discriminatory content, and not promotional in nature. In short, we do our best to provide you with original patient experiences.

One of the reasons we offer these clinic reviews is because we know consumers are increasingly turning to the Internet to gather consumer information. According to searchenginepeople.com, 92 percent of people have more confidence in information they find online than they do from any other source. An article in Business Week, cited a survey by Penn, Schoen & Berland Associates, saying more than 70 percent of consumers consult reviews or ratings before they make a purchase.

Doing research is a smart practice, according to advice from usa.gov. In addition to determining what you can realistically afford, the website encourages consumers to talk to friends and family, as well as consult reliable sources for unbiased reviews of the product or service you want to purchase. The site also recommends checking with the Better Business Bureau or local consumer affairs department to see if anyone has lodged legitimate complaints about the companies you're considering doing business with.

While this amount of research might seem extensive for your first trip to the hearing aid center, hearing aid technology is an important purchase. The relationship you form with your hearing healthcare professional will be ongoing and instrumental in selecting the right devices! Reading Healthy Hearing's clinic reviews can help point you toward the right professional to treat for your hearing loss!
