Public invited to get photos and autographs with celebrities attending Ninth Annual "So the World May Hear" Awards Gala
WHAT: Starkey Hearing Foundation, the global leader in delivering the gift of hearing to those in need, is rolling out the red carpet for celebrities attending its Ninth Annual "So the World May Hear" Awards Gala, the Foundation's annual star-studded fundraiser. The red carpet festivities, which include photograph and autograph opportunities, are free and open to the public.
WHO: Some of the celebrities attending and/or participating in this year's "So the World May Hear" Awards Gala include performers Elton John, Gladys Knight, Tony Bennett, Sam Moore, and Paul Williams; comedians Billy Crystal and Norm Crosby; actors Leslie Nielsen, Lou Ferrigno and Robert Culp; TV personalities Alan Kalter and Paige Hemmis; astronaut Buzz Aldrin; golf legend Arnold Palmer; 1961 Yankees teammates Moose Skowron, Whitey Ford, Bobby Richardson, and Bob Turley as well as Mickey Mantle's son David Mantle; Southern Methodist University head football coach June Jones; and many others. In addition, Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty, Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress and members of the Minnesota Vikings will also attend.
