April 1, 2009 - Kitchener, ON, Canada - Unitron today unveiled a new Company brand identity, and announced the introduction of two new products that feature exceptional technological advances at AudiologyNOW! 2009 in Dallas, Texas.

The Unitron brand, represented by a new logo, tagline and colors, gives shape to the Company's unique promise to hearing healthcare professionals and their clients. The logo, with its connect tagline, represents the vital connections between Unitron employees, hearing healthcare professionals and people with hearing loss.

New Products Exemplify Purpose-Driven Innovation

In a major product announcement, Unitron's new premium hearing instrument Passport^™ offers an extraordinary array of advanced technologies that promote clearer, more engaging hearing than ever before. Passport's purpose-driven innovations include unprecedented client control over listening preferences, wireless connectivity and programming, interactive personalized learning, and digitally precise venting technology. Passport's smartFocus^™ gives clients the ability to control four adaptive features of their hearing instruments, including the microphone strategy, to refine individual listening preferences.

With Passport, Unitron continues its track record for unparalleled choice with the introduction of three new styles: wireless Moxi ^™ 13 CRT (Canal Receiver Technology) and Moda^™ 13 Slim Tube, which offer all the advantages of a 13 BTE without compromising on size and aesthetics; and the all-new Shift^™ - the second Unitron product introduction in this year's AAA line-up.

Shift is the ultra-small BTE that proves stylish is also smart. Shift is a 10A CRT with Passport's core feature set. Shells and spines can be easily interchanged in the office to meet clients' style preferences to match skin tone, hair color or personal style. The commitment to client control continues in Shift, with the proven ease of onBoard^™ control and the optional Smart Control remote.
