All Nucleus speech processors are equipped for accessory use. Nucleus recipients receive a wide range of accessories including patch cables, remote microphone and customized accessories for the particular processor, such as telephone adapters. The telephone adapter is an accessory that provides direct connection from the speech processor to a standard corded telephone. In addition to the included accessories, my ESPrit 3G has a built-in telecoil that eliminates the need for cables and adapters when using the telephone, telecoil compatible devices such as headphones and certain assistive listening systems.
