About Lakeshore Medical Clinics Lakeshore Medical Clinic History Lakeshore Medical Clinic was founded in 1991 by four family practitioners who shared the strong belief that healthcare is best delivered at the community level. In 1992 the physicians moved their practice to 2000 E. Layton Avenue in St. Francis, where all four of the original physicians continue to practice. Over the next several years, LMC continued to add primary care physicians, clinic locations and established their corporate office at 100 15th Avenue in South Milwaukee. In the year 2000, we added our first specialty physician and have since evolved into a multi-specialty medical group offering not only primary care but also 20 different sub-specialties.
