Kathleen Johnson

M.A., CCC-A

Mrs. Johnson received her undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut (1999) and her Masters Degree in Audiology from the University of Connecticut (2001). She specializes in Pediatric Audiology, Cochlear Implant candidacy and management, and central auditory processing evaluations. She is certified in Audiology by the American Speech Language Hearing Association and the American Board of Audiology, and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology.

Mitchell Kramer

Dr. Kramer, originally from Brooklyn, New York, received his undergraduate (1971) and Masters Degrees (1973) from Brooklyn College. He obtained a Ph.D. in Audiology from Northwestern University (1977). He is certified in Audiology by the American Speech Language Hearing Association and the American Board of Audiology, and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology. Dr. Kramer served as Supervisor of Audiology at Walter Reed Hospital prior to joining the faculty of the University of Vermont in 1980. He is past president of the Vermont Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Mid-Vermont ENT, P.C., established in 1978, is dedicated to the care of the medical and surgical problems of the ear, nose, throat and related head & neck structures. Our specialty team consists of: Otolaryngologists, Audiologists, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistants, and nursing and support staff. Our specialists diagnose and treat: diseases of the ear, including infections, hearing and balance problems, and ringing in the ears; disorders of the nose and sinuses, such as infections, problems with stuffy nose, bleeding from the nose, snoring and sleep apnea and loss of smell; disorders of the throat, including voice and swallowing problems, sore throat and reflux disease; cancerous and non-cancerous tumors of the head and neck, including the thyroid and parathyroid; treatment of nasal and sinus allergy; facial plastics and reconstructive surgery; and pediatric ear, nose and throat problems such as infections of the ears, tonsils and adenoids.

Mid-Vermont ENT offers evaluation, treatment, and management of nasal and sinus allergy. Twenty percent of the population suffers from some form of allergy, an altered exaggerated response to something in the environment called an allergen. Common inhalant allergens include dust mites, molds, pollen, and animal dander. These allergies can be tested for and treated in our office.
