Dr. Maria Sakellarides has been a practicing audiologist since 1977. She received a Bachelors Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology at Duquesne University and her Masters Degree in Audiology from the University of West Virginia. In 2000, she received her Doctor of Audiology Degree from the University of Florida. Dr. Sakellarides is extensively trained in all aspects of hearing loss, hearing aids and counseling that will assist a patient through various stages of their hearing impairment. Her goal is to provide hearing aid satisfaction and better quality of life.
Our goals are to promote the acceptance of hearing healthcare for the hearing impaired and their families through the use of hearing aids, assistive listening devices, effective counseling and aural rehabilitation strategies. As professionals, our job is not necessarily that of selling hearing aids. Our priority is to make sure our patients find solutions to their hearing problems. Each patient receives individualized attention.
