Christian Pogreba, HIS, is the president of Hearing Healthcare of Virginia. He began his career in the hearing care industry 13 years ago and worked mainly with the development of hearing practices. He saw the positive impact that better hearing makes on people’s lives and wanted to have a more active role in helping people so he earned the education necessary to become a Hearing Instrument Specialist.
Roger Merchant has been serving the patients of Hearing Healthcare of Virginia since 2005. He is the Hearing Instrument Specialist in the Fishersville office. His keen desire to make a significant difference in people’s lives motivated him to become a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist. Roger brings a joyful spirit and a deep concern for others. We are confident that you will feel the same sentiment when you meet him in the Fishersville location.
Roger was born and raised in Augusta County, the sixth of seven children and has been married for over 14 years to his wife Beverly. They are the proud parents of three wonderful children.
Audiologist Heather Short joined Hearing Healthcare of Virginia in October 2012 as the clinical Audiologist for all of our six offices throughout Central Virginia. Mrs. Short is a native of Chicago and earned both a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Clinical Audiology from Illinois State University where she graduated cum laude. She also holds a National Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA), which demonstrates that she has met rigorous academic and professional standards, which go beyond the minimum requirements for state licensure. She holds licensure to practice Audiology in both the State of Illinois and Commonwealth of Virginia.
