Hear what you are missing
I have lived in the Charlottesville area for 12 years and now consider it home forever. I love the Blueridge Mountains and the people who live around them.
I am fortunate to work in a profession that I truly love. Providing help that enables people to communicate with loved ones, be productive at work and interact socially is very rewarding. I do not take lightly the trust my patients place in me to properly manage their hearing health and am dedicated to providing the highest level of professionalism and care that I can. My patients inspire me every day to be the best I can be and I refuse to let them down!
Heather Short has been with the Hearing Healthcare of Virginia team since 2012 as the clinical Audiologist for all of our six offices throughout Central Virginia. She earned both a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Clinical Audiology from Illinois State University, where she graduated cum laude. Heather also holds a National Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA), which demonstrates that she has met rigorous academic and professional standards, which go beyond the minimum requirements for state licensure.
Hearing Healthcare of Virginia is a privately owned local business since 2003. Our mission is to educate, support and take the time necessary to care for our patients needs. Let us help guide you through this important decision.
