Dr. Garber is originally from Harrisonburg, Va. She received her bachelor's degree from James Madison University, her master's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and her audiology doctorate from Salus University. In 1995, after practicing for several years in North Carolina, Dr. Garber relocated with her family to Roanoke, Va. In Roanoke she continued her career at LewisGale Clinic, and in May 2000, established Hearing Health Associates along with Dr. Douglas Cameron. Dr. Garber recently relocated with her husband and two daughters to Crozet. She will see patients in the new Crozet office as well as in the Roanoke office.
Dr. Cameron was raised in Roanoke, Va. He received his bachelor's degree from James Madison University, his master's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and his audiology doctorate form Salus University. He completed his clinical fellowship in Charleston, SC, in 1990 and accepted a position at the North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem. In 1993, he returned to Roanoke to continue his career at LewisGale Clinic. He and Dr. Garber then cofounded Hearing Health Associates in 2000. Dr. Cameron is married and has two sons and one daughter. He primarily sees patients in the Roanoke office.

Hearing Health Associates was established in May 2000 as an independent audiology practice dedicated to providing quality hearing health care. Co-owners Douglas Cameron and Tammy Garber are doctors of audiology with over 50 years combined experience. Through one-on-one consultation and diagnostic evaluation, our audiologists learn about each individual's concerns and needs. Appropriate solutions and rehabilitative measures are then applied to improve quality of life through better hearing.
