Ann Parro

Au.D.

Dr. Ann Parro grew up near Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Dr. Parro received a Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) degree in 2007 from Nova Southeastern University. She was employed at the Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA before joining Massa and Associates in 2008. Dr. Parro is licensed by the state of Virginia to examine, diagnose, and treat hearing and balance disorders, and has a hearing aid dispensing license. Dr. Parro is dedicated to providing personalized hearing healthcare, integrity and reliable audiological service while increasing public awareness regarding the early identification, treatment and rehabilitation options for hearing loss. Dr. Parro enjoys traveling, golf, tennis, watching football, and relaxing with family and friends in her spare time.

Michael Massa

Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Michael V. Massa is a graduate of Ohio University where he earned a B.S. in Speech and Hearing Science. He received his Masters Degree in Clinical Audiology from the University of Virginia and a Doctor of Audiology from the University of Florida. Dr. Massa specializes in the identification and rehabilitation of disorders that cause hearing loss, dizziness and vertigo. He has been in private practice here in Northern Virginia for 26 years. In that time he has evaluated thousands of patients. He was appointed to the Virginia State Regulatory Board of Audiology by former Governor Douglas L. Wilder and served from 1990 to 1994. Dr. Massa is dedicated to evaluating and treating his patients to help them overcome their problems and resume their normal lives.

About Us

For over 30 years our practice has been providing diagnostic services and treatments to patients. We also are active with education and training with future doctors of audiology by offering internships and residency programs. Our practice has stayed on the leading edge of technology and has participated in beta studies for hearing device manufacturers. Our doctors provide the most comprehensive treatment and follow up in a warm and friendly environment. We have available in our office board certified Ear, Nose, and Throat specialists if any of our patients are in need of medical care. We have two convenient locations in Fairfax county and Alexandria.
