Eric Nilsson

BCHIS
Eric W. Nilsson is a Nationally Board-Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist and has been working with the patients of Nilsson Hearing Center for over 6 years now. Although his direct contact with patients has only been 6 years, he has been a part of the family business his entire life with his father (Mark W. Nilsson) working with the Hearing impaired for over 33 years.  He enjoys working with each and every patient to find a solution to solve their individual hearing loss and getting to know every patients story.  He enjoys staying abreast to the latest technological advancements that are being made and how it can change his patient’s life.  He has personally seen the impact of hearing loss with numerous family members having problems with their hearing. Also understanding the detrimental impact it can have on the individual as well as the loved ones around them when it is left untreated.

When Eric is not working he can be found enjoying time with his wife and four boys.  While studying at Southern Utah University he played on a golf scholarship and qualified and played in the 2005 U.S. Amateur.  If not playing golf or soccer he enjoys doing anything with his family in the outdoors, whether it’s hiking, hunting, fishing or camping.  He has a love for life and enjoys the excitement that it can bring.

Pamela Montgomerey-Earl

AuD, CCC-A/SLP, FAAA

Pam Montgomery-Earl started her professional career as a Registered Nurse and 10 years as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. Hearing loss issues in her family stimulated an interest in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology, she returned to school and completed a Masters in Speech and Hearing Science, and a Clinical Doctorate in Audiology. She is certified as an ASHA Speech Language Pathologist and Audiologist and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Audiology. For the past 21 years she has worked as an Audiologist in the provision of Pediatric and Adult Audiology Services.

Pam believes that untreated hearing loss is a serious national health crisis that severely affects patients, their families, and their ability to communicate in many ways. Her professional goals include educating her community regarding hearing loss and its ramifications, and identification and assessment of her patient’s hearing. There are many amplification options available to patients with hearing loss and Pam feels it can be very confusing for some patients. She works to provide an explanation of the best options available, as well as, provide the products and services which will help patients hear better. Choosing to work with Nilsson Hearing Clinics was an obvious choice because of their commitment to provide patients with the best quality products on the market and their focus on Auditory Counseling services designed to improve patient’s ability to function.

Jamie Wilkerson

HIS

Jamie, a Patient Care Coordinator and Hearing Instrument Specialist intern, is the smiling face that greets every patient in our Richfield, Utah location. Having been with us since 2012 and a resident of Sevier County for many years, Jamie makes sure our patients have access to a full-time hearing healthcare practice close to home. Jamie started her internship under Board-Certified Provider Eric Nilsson and looks forward to becoming Board-Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences herself. Jamie has four children who are her world. When she is not in the office she is an outdoor girl; enjoying her time camping, riding ATVs, fishing, running, and of course, raising her many chickens with her children and husband Toby. Jamie’s experience as a full-time mother, and with her family members who have hearing loss has led her to be very caring and compassionate toward our patients. By understanding how to help people stay actively-engaged, Jamie has become a patient favorite for her ability to empower our patients to maintain their positions of influence within our community.

Luann Hutchins

Patient Care Coordinator
Luann Hutchins is one of our Patient Care Coordinators at Nilsson Hearing Clinics. She is responsible for taking care of each patient that comes through the door, before and after each visit.  Each month Luann happily greets over 500 different individuals and answers over 700 phone calls into our practice.  When you meet Luann for the first time you truly know why our patients love her warmth and friendliness.

She was born in Southern Illinois and grew up in Salt Lake City Utah. Shortly thereafter she moved to Denver for 14 years before the cold weather got the better of her and she moved to St George in 1995. She has two grown daughters and loves getting together with them when they are in town.  In her spare time away from the office, Luann really enjoys the mountains and hiking along the canyons.  It is not as often as she would like, but a few times a month you can find Luann out enjoying the local golf courses in Southern Utah.  As an avid golfer, Luann is always looking for someone to hit the links with…just give her a call.  In addition to golf, Luann is probably best known in the community for her many medals won bowling in the Huntsman Senior Games each year.
