Janice Richbourg

Au.D., CCC-A, FAAA

Dr. Richbourg, Director of Audiology, obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ouachita Baptist University in Communication Disorders. She received a Master of Science degree with a focus in Audiology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, and completed her Doctor of Audiology degree at Texas Tech University in 2003. Dr. Richbourg has been employed by ENT Associates since June 2002. Her primary focus is on adult and pediatric hearing devices.

Lesley Lee

Au.D., CCC-A, FAAA

Dr. Lee obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas in Communication Sciences and Disorders, a Master of Science degree in Audiology from Lamar University and completed her Doctor of Audiology degree at Pennsylvania College of Optometry in. Dr. Lee has been with ENT Associates of East Texas since 2006. Her clinical interests focus on the areas of auditory evoked potentials, pediatric audiology, and hearing aids.

Phyllis Trotter

AuD, CCC-A, FAAA

Dr. Trotter obtained her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees form the University of Southern Mississippi. She went on to earn her Doctor of Audiology degree from A.T. Still/Arizona School of Health Sciences.  Dr. Trotter holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC/A) from American Speech Language and Hearing Association and she is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.  Dr. Trotter has been a clinical/dispensing audiologist for the past twenty-six years, honing her skills in several states before moving to East Texas. Her clinical focus is on pediatric and adult hearing aids. 

A native from Mississippi, Dr. Trotter who loves God, her family and others. She is married and the mother of one beautiful daughter. She enjoys sharing her gift with the community on hearing healthcare.

Beth Dorsey

AuD, CCC-A, FAAA

Dr. Dorsey has been in the audiology field since 1989. She obtained her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Audiology from the University of Texas. She completed her Doctorate of Audiology degree at the Arizona School of Health Sciences.  Her primary focus is on the diagnosis of hearing loss in adult and pediatric populations.

Jordan Traber

AuD, CCC-A, FAAA

Dr. Traber obtained a Bachelor of Science degree at Lamar University in Communication Disorders in 2011 and a Doctor of Audiology degree at the University of North Texas in 2015.  Dr. Traber started working at ENT Associates of East Texas in 2014 as a fourth year doctoral resident and accepted a full-time position after her degree was conferred.  Her clinical interests focus on the areas of advanced diagnostic testing and hearing aids.  She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.  She is also a member of the Texas Academy of Audiology and regularly attends both state and national conventions in audiology.

Laurie Hicks

M.S., CCC-A, FAAA

Laurie Hicks is a Clinical Audiologist and has been with ENT Associates since 2004. She has been a practicing Audiologist for almost 30 years. Her clinical areas of expertise are balance disorders, pediatric and general audiometric evaluations. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech/Language Pathology and Master of Science Degree in Audiology  from the University of North Texas.  Laurie's primary focus is on the diagnosis of hearing loss and the diagnosis and treatment of balance disorders.

Mary Roberts

M.A., CCC-A, FAAA

Mary has been a practicing clinical audiologist since 1992. She obtained a Masters Degree in Audiology from the University of Texas, as well as a Bachelors degree in Microbiology from Texas A&M University. She has worked as an audiologist at three otolaryngology clinics in Southeast Texas, as well as at Memorial Hermann Hospital, a level I trauma hospital in Houston, TX. She enjoys hearing testing of all ages of patients, as well as the testing and treatment of balance disorders.

Teri Brooks

MA, CCC-A

Teri has been in the healthcare industry for over 25 years, both as a registered nurse and a certified audiologist. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology from Stephen F. Austin and her Master of Arts in Communication Disorders in Audiology from the University of Northern Colorado.  Her primary focus is on the diagnosis of hearing loss in adult and pediatric populations and the fitting and dispensing of hearing devices.

About this clinic

ENT Associates of East Texas has been in business for over 25 years. We currently have six physicians: Steuart Heaton, M.D., Howard Garb, M.D., Troy Callender, M.D., Michael Lewis, M.D., Monica Hardee, M.D., and Daniel Glass, M.D. We also have a physician assistant, Lara Beverly, PA-C. We have a large audiology department consisting of six full time and two part-time audiologists.  We strive to provide a high quality of service and customer satisfaction for all patients who choose to purchase hearing aids from our office.

Clinic services

We provide a wide variety of services including hearing evaluations and hearing aids for both adult and pediatric populations,and balance disorder assessment and treatment. We also offer Baha surgical and programming services, as well as cochlear implant mapping services for Cochlear Corporation and Advanced Bionics Cochlear Implants. Included with the purchase of hearing aids, our clinic offers a 60-day trial period with 100% refund of the purchase price if not completely satisfied. We also feature a Quality of Service Guarantee that includes: free batteries for the life of the hearing aids, free follow-up visits for the life of the hearing aids, a yearly hearing screening and a yearly test with the hearing aid on to determine benefit.
