Audiologist

Dr. Andrea Gohmert is the Director of Audiology Clinical Operations here at Callier Center for Communication Disorders at the University of Texas. She manages the hearing services division and a staff of audiologists serving the children and adults who seek our help with their hearing. Dr. Gohmert has over two decades’ experience in audiology and serves as a clinical member of the faculty instructing our audiology students. She holds a certificate of clinical competence in audiology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association.

Callier Center for Communication Disorders at the University of Texas Dallas has proudly served patients with speech, language, and hearing disorders since 1963. As a part of UT- Dallas, students accepted into the Doctor of Audiology degree program are mentored by and train alongside our audiologists in the evaluation and treatment of hearing and balance disorders. Callier Center’s highly skilled and experienced audiology team is comprised of 12 licensed and certified audiologists and one licensed audiology assistant.  Our team of audiologists include specialists in diagnostics of hearing and balance, pediatric audiology, educational audiology, assistive listening devices, hearing aids, cochlear implants, and tinnitus. Callier Center has become a preferred referral source for physicians, families, and friends in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
