About Us

Hearing loss had a profound effect on Mrs. Lena Callier, a native Texan who enjoyed a socially-active life with her husband, Edward. But, as her hearing declined, so did her enthusiasm for participating in social and recreational activities. Mrs. Callier's once thriving and active life soon became very isolating and frustrating. The hearing loss had such an impact on her life that she made a commitment to herself to do all she could to prevent others from experiencing the same fate.

Licensed and certified audiologists at the nationally recognized University of Texas at Dallas Callier Center for Communication Disorders perform comprehensive evaluations, including diagnosis and recommendations for individuals of all ages. Audiology staff assist people with suspected hearing problems and dispense advanced hearing instruments to meet the needs of those with permanent hearing loss. Many other excellent hearing rehabilitation services are offered to preserve and prevent future hearing problems, in addition to improve faulty communication caused by hearing loss.
