Cathryn Comstock has been with American Hearing Center since 1989 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Education of the Hearing Impaired from Texas Tech University. She also earned her Master of Arts in Audiology from the University of Texas and her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from Arizona School of Health Science, a college of the A.T. Still University. She provides expert hearing care services to patients of all ages.
Dr. M. Rita Newby earned her bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Central Florida. She then went on to earn a Doctorate of Audiology from Nova Southeastern University. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA).
As a mother of two hearing impaired children she has first-hand knowledge of the challenges hearing impaired individuals and their families face on a day-to-day basis. She believes in staying up-to-date on the latest technology, following best audiological practices and adhering to the highest ethical standards.
Dr. Newby’s clinical expertise includes diagnostic audiology, educational audiology, hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
She has recently transplanted from her home state of Florida and looks forward to getting to know the friendly folks of Central Texas and breaking out her cowboy boots.
