Kristin Horan


Dr. Kristin Horan recently joined North Hills ENT as a clinical audiologist. She completed her Bachelors of Science degree in Audiology and Speech Pathology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in 2011, graduating cum laude and earned her Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in 2015. She has multiple special interests in the field of audiology including adult diagnostics, pediatric diagnostics, vestibular evaluations, central auditory processing and amplification.

Dr. Horan is originally from upstate New York and recently moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Outside of her work activities, Kristin enjoys photography, exercising, reading, and cooking. Joe.jpg

Brent Joe


Brent Joe, Au.D. is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA), and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. He received his Doctoral degree from the University of Texas at Dallas-Callier Center, and his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University. Dr. Joe joined North Hills ENT in 2015 and is committed to providing the highest level of care based on the most current research and techniques. His clinical focus includes treating tinnitus, balance disorders, audiological evaluations and hearing aids.

Outside interests include spending time with his family, staying active, traveling, and trying new foods.

Dr. Joe is also affiliated with the Texas Academy of Audiology, Academy of Doctors of Audiology, and the Academy of Rehabilitative Audiology.

Stephen Lamson


Stephen Lamson is a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas and has a Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders (Audiology). He has practiced as an audiologist since 1996 and has experience in both medical/clinical and in hearing aid dispensing-only practices. As an audiologist at North Hills ENT, Stephen performs hearing evaluations, conducts electrophysiological and dizziness/balance tests, and fits hearing aids.

Stephen is licensed to practice audiology in the state of Texas and is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, the American Academy of Audiology, the Academy of Rehabilitative Audiology, and the Texas Academy of Audiology. Outside of his work activities, Stephen enjoys music, reading, movies, sports, and volunteering. McDonald.jpg

Rebecca McDonald


Dr. McDonald is passionate about audiology and her focus on providing the highest quality of patient care. She has 12 years of experience in fitting and dispensing of hearing aids. She has worked as a clinical audiologist in private practice and the Veteran's Administration, as a hearing aid researcher at The Medical University of South Carolina and most recently was faculty at Texas Women's University. She received her Masters and Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) degrees at Vanderbilt University and her Bachelors in Communication Sciences at Louisiana Tech University. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA), and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Outside of work she enjoys volunteering at her children's school, practicing yoga, reading and spending time with family. Wolters.jpg

Cheryl Wolter


Cheryl Wolters is a Fellow of the Texas Academy of Audiology and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) through the American Speech Language Hearing Association. She received her Master of Science in Communication Disorders-Audiology degree from the University of Texas at Dallas – Callier Center and her undergraduate degree from Baylor University. Her audiologic experience includes diagnostic research and assessments, newborn hearing, pediatric audiology, educational audiology, and clinical hearing assessments. Cheryl's clinical focus includes providing the most current and highest level of hearing care for every patient from pediatrics to seniors as well as finding the best hearing solution for each patient's lifestyle. Cheryl joined North Hills ENT in 2014.

When not working with patients, Cheryl enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteering in her community, and crafting.

Also affiliated with the American Speech Language Hearing Association and Texas Academy of Audiology.
