NABIL S. AL-MUHTASEB, MB, CHB, MS, CCC-A Nabil’s medical and audiological training and experience bring a new professional dimension to UTHealth audiology. He is one of just a few “physicians turned audiologists” in the United States. Nabil earned his master’s degree in audiology from Lamar University Hearing and Speech Center in Beaumont, Texas, in 1993, and worked at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and with NTAMG Surgical Specialists and Texas Health Care in Fort Worth prior to joining UTHealth. He received his medical degree in family medicine from Alexandria University, and is certified in Audiology by the American Board of Audiology. Nabil speaks English, Arabic, and some Spanish.
