Michelle John

Au.D.

Dr. Michelle John joined Houston Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic in 2008. She earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and has worked in a variety of clinical environments with experience in adult and pediatric hearing aid fittings, hearing conservation and protection, tinnitus treatment, and vestibular assessment. She has a focus on prescribing and fitting hearing instruments and tinnitus retraining devices. She is a licensed audiologist in the states of Virginia and Texas and maintains membership with the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.

Julie Garcia

C.M.A., Vestibular Technician

Julie Garcia has been with Houston Ear, Nose, Throat & Allergy Clinic since 2005. She earned her certification in medical assisting in 2004. She began as a medical assistant to physicians, then studied to provide vestibular diagnostic testing. Now, she helps assess patients who are experiencing dizziness or imbalance.

Shauna Helm

Audiology Coordinator

Shauna joined Houston Ear, Nose, Throat and Allergy Clinic in 2012. She has a background working in medical settings. As the audiology coordinator, she arranges and confirms appointments, and oversees the daily patient flow of the department.
