Michelle Durrant

Michelle Durrant, Au.D. has been with Houston Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic, LLP since summer, 2011. Doctor Durrant completed her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathlogy and Audiology at the University of Akron, and obtained her Doctor of Audiology degree from the Northeast Ohio Au.D. Consortium. Her primary interest includes diagnostic audiology, with a particular focus in vestibular assessment. She is licensed to provide audiological services, and fit and dispense hearing aids in Texas. Doctor Durrant is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology.

Michelle John, Au.D. joined Houston Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic in 2008. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Speech Communication from Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky and her Doctor of Audiology degree from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. Dr. John has worked in a variety of clinical environments with experience in adult and pediatric hearing aid fittings, hearing conservation and protection, tinnitus treatment, and vestibular assessment. She has also been involved with various research projects, including investigating the effect of music on otoacoustic emissions and a comparison study of traditional hearing aids versus a fully implantable hearing device. Currently, Dr. John is a full-time audiologist at the Memorial City location, focusing on prescribing and fitting hearing instruments and tinnitus retraining devices. In addition, she works in conjunction with an otologist to provide a surgically implantable hearing aid. Dr. John is a licensed audiologist in the states of Virginia and Texas and maintains membership with the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
