Dr. Petillo grew up in Columbia, SC. She attended James Madison University and received her B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2002 and earned her clinical Ph.D. in the field of audiology in 2006. Her dissertation focused on the balance abilities of three populations of athletes utilizing computerized dynamic posturography. This work grew into a passion of working with patients suffering from dizziness and vertigo. After an internship at an ear, nose and throat clinic in Alexandria, VA, she relocated to Charlotte, NC in 2006 and began her work with Charlotte Eye Ear Nose & Throat Associates, P.A. in the Rock Hill, SC office. She focuses her skills on providing audiological services to adult and pediatric populations, specializing in vestibular testing and hearing aid services. Dr. Petillo lives with her husband and their two French bulldogs in south Charlotte.
