AuD, FAAA

Audiologist

Dr. Kim Block completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Maryland, College Park, and also earned her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) in 2006. Her experience included working at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland, Providence Health System in Portland, Oregon, and Cornerstone Ear, Nose & Throat in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is Board Certified in Audiology and holds Specialty Certification in Pediatric Audiology and is licensed to practice audiology in both North and South Carolina.

In 2015, Dr. Block opened Lakeside Audiology in response to the great need she observed in her area for evidence-based hearing healthcare for pediatrics and adults. Since then, she has worked tirelessly to build a space where people of any age with hearing loss and hearing concerns can seek the comprehensive and personalized care they deserve. She and her staff provide extensive services in behavioral and electrophysiological hearing evaluation, management of hearing loss through amplification and rehabilitation, cochlear implant evaluation, programming and follow-up care, and contract educational audiology services.

Outside of her passion for Audiology, her greatest joy is her family. She and her husband, Andrew, are residents of Tega Cay, where they are raising their three daughters.

Hearing Solutions for All

Lakeside Audiology exists to help people hear, which enables their communication, relationships, and contributions to society and their social circles. Established in 2015, Dr. Block saw a need for comprehensive hearing care for pediatrics and adults that followed an evidence-based approach with a high-level of collaboration with other related professionals.

We want every patient to leave feeling they received top-notch hearing care wrapped in genuine conversation and knowledge. Our goal is to successfully bridge the gap between diagnosis and treatment for those with hearing loss. Expect your patient experience to be met with easy communication, prompt follow-up, and the highest level of diagnostics, hearing device selection, fitting and maintenance.
