

Carrie Christ graduated from Worcester State College in 1999. She went to graduate school at Southern Connecticut State University where she earned her Masters degree in Audiology in 2002. During her graduate work she not only received training from the university but also with the otolaryngology department at Yale New Haven Hospital as well as Yale Children's Hospital. Mrs. Christ is currently working towards obtaining her Doctorate in Audiology. She is attending Arizona School of Health Sciences. Mrs. Christ received her clinical competence certificate from the American Speech and Hearing Association after passing the national audiology examination and completing her clinical fellowship year in 2003. Mrs. Christ is a professional specializing in identifying, diagnosing, treating and monitoring disorders of the auditory and vestibular system portions of the ear. She has been trained to diagnose, manage and treat hearing problems. She dispenses hearing aids and counsels families through a new diagnosis of hearing loss, and help teach coping and compensation skills to patients with hearing loss. Mrs. Christ enjoys camping, horseback riding and scrapbooking. She, her husband, son and daughters live in Massachusetts.

Whether you have swimmers ear, a sore throat, trouble swallowing or hearing loss, our physicians will work with you to achieve your optimal health. Below is included a brief discussion of common ENT problems and how they are approached in our office. All evaluations begin with full discussion of history of the illness, consideration of pertinent past medical history and appropriate medical examination. We also work closely with your primary care provider to coordinate your care. Our office is fully computerized with a high quality Electronic medical record system. This system allows access to medical information from the Lifespan network of hospitals (Rhode Island Hospital, Newport Hospital, Miriam Hospital, Bradley Hospital). Prescriptions are filled electronically and sophisticated methods are available to track ordered tests and best care paradigms.
