We provide a comprehensive array of services related to evaluation, rehabilitation and prevention of hearing impairment. These services include comprehensive hearing evaluations, specialized diagnostic testing, and industrial hearing screenings. Since a hearing aid cannot be prescribed like eye glasses, proper hearing aid recommendation and fitting is highly dependent on the judgment and skill of the professional selecting the instrument. We test your hearing, select and dispense the hearing instrument best to meet your needs, in additon to ,providing support, counseling and service of the hearing system. We are concerned about the person and make hearing solution recommendations to fit your lifestlye and personal needs. Protecting your hearing can make a big difference. We can help you protect your hearing from further deterioration through education about what affects your hearing, as well as the proper use and care of hearing protection devices.

Services Assistive Listening Devices In some cases, hearing aids are not the complete answer to communication difficulties. There are many other devices available to help you in your most difficult listening environments. These devices include television listening systems, special doorbells, vibrating alarm clocks, amplified telephones that really work, mobile phone solutions, and more. Audiological Evaluations Complete hearing testing for ages four to adult. Evaluations include measures of hearing sensitivity for Air and Bone conducted sounds, measures of Speech Discrimination ability and as well as Speech Reception Thresholds. When necessary, assessment of the middle ear function (impedance audiometry), and special testing to determine the location of dysfunction by a certified Audiologist. Ear Molds People who do not want water in their ear canals can have floatable swimmer's ear plugs made of a water resistant material which can even be made to change colors! We encourage all our patients to come in for a regular hearing aid evaluation and cleaning at no charge. Tinnitus Diagnostics & Management Tinnitus is a common condition, where a person experiences a ringing, rushing, or buzzing in the ears. Tinnitus will not cause you to go deaf, but its presence may affect your daily activities. Our professionals can help recommend a course of action to deal with this persistent problem. Each person has an individual response to treatment. Our goal is to work with you to minimize and potentially eliminate this condition. When you visit Audiology and Hearing Aid Associates, your hearing will be evaluated by a nationally certified Audiologist. The purpose of this evaluation is to monitor the effectiveness of the ear protection you are using. If you are not using any ear protection, this may show that you need to get started! The hearing evaluation may also indicate the presence of a problem which needs medical attention. Therefore, a hearing evaluation is important to your general health, as well as your ears.
