
Ms. Murdza is originally from Long Island, New York where she graduated from Adelphi University with a B.S. in Speech Therapy. She moved to Central Pennsylvania for her first job with the Department of Public Welfare. She was then employed by the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf in Philadelphia while completing her graduate work in Deaf Education as well as Audiology through Penn State University. Ms. Murdza moved to back to the Union County area to work for the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit. She is a retired licensed teacher of the deaf and was thrilled to join Medical Park ENT as a licensed Audiologist to continue her career in hearing rehabilitation
Deborah is originally from Pittsburgh and earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Clarion University in Speech Pathology and Audiology. She continued her education at Kent State University, obtaining her Master’s degree in Audiology. Debbie also worked as an audiologist at Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh before moving to central Pennsylvania. Deborah has over 28 years of experience as an audiologist and has worked at Medical Park ENT for 26 years. She became interested in audiology because her father has a hearing loss and she saw first-hand how a hearing impairment can impact not only the individual, but the entire family. She gets great satisfaction in helping others identify and overcome their hearing difficulties. Debbie and her husband Tim live in New Columbia and have two grown children. In her spare time she enjoys travel and singing in church and community choirs.
Janie Coyne, M.S. has been an employee of Medical Park ENT since April, 2008. Originally from the Eastern Shore of Maryland, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology and her Master’s degree in Audiology from Penn State, where she also completed her clinical fellowship year. She has worked in acute care and rehabilitation hospital settings and enjoys working with patients of all ages. She and her husband live in Selinsgrove and have two teenage daughters. Janie enjoys the outdoors and is involved in church and community activities.
Our experienced team will perform a diagnostic assessment. Based on the results they will use their expertise to recommend an appropriate course of action to improve listening and hearing skills.
