Clinic staff

Carol Sayre


Carol Sayre, Au.D., CCC-A, earned her Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Sciences degree from Northwest Nazarene University and her Master of Science in Speech Communication – Speech and Hearing Sciences from Portland State University. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is currently earning her Au.D (Doctor of Audiology) degree from Arizona School of Health and Sciences at A.T. Still University. 

Originally from Albany, Oregon, Carol now resides in Oregon City. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her dog, church involvement, crocheting, outdoor activities, BBQ competitions and traveling. 


Jonathan Hamm


Jonathan Hamm, licensed hearing aid specialist, has been with Salem Audiology Clinic since 2005.  When he isn’t helping people hear better, Jonathan gives people something better to hear!  He is an accomplished musician who plays with the Salem Pops Orchestra. He also enjoys spending time with his wife have two children.


C. Scot Frink


Scot Frink has spent his whole life around hearing care; his father founded Salem Audiology Clinic in 1981.

Scot has been repairing hearing aids since 1990 and has been a licensed hearing aid dispenser since 1995. He earned his Master of Science degree in Audiology in 2004. 
Outside of the clinic, Scot enjoys spending time with his family at home. 


Beth Carter


Audiologist Beth Carter has a wide range of experience in hearing care in a variety of medical settings, including ENT offices and hospitals.

She earned her Doctorate in Audiology from AT Still University and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology.
Beth lives with her family in Portland. When she isn’t helping people hear better, she enjoys music, horses, hiking, touring lighthouses, reading mysteries, crafting and collecting humorous books and comics about hearing.


Randy Lerner


Randy Lerner has spent his career helping people hear better.  He earned his Master of Arts in Audiology and is currently in the process or earning his Doctor of Audiology degree. He is Board Certified in Audiology.

Originally hailing from Southern California, Randy is a relatively new addition to beautiful South Salem Oregon, where he enjoys having outdoor adventures with his son, spending time with his wife, bicycling, fishing, woodwork and classic hot-rods. 


Tori Blomquist


The latest addition to the Salem Audiology team is Tori Blomquist, MS, CCC-A. Tori brings over 20 years of experience in a variety of clinical settings helping both children and adults hear better. She earned her Master’s Degree in Audiology from Brigham Young University and is certified by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. 

Tori and her family reside in the Beaverton area.  Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with family, friends and her church community.
