About us - About The Oregon Clinic The Oregon Clinic is an evidence-based, multidisciplinary organization that provides the highest quality medical care. The Oregon Clinic was founded in 1994 with the merging of six specialty groups. Since then, the organization has expanded to more than 120 physicians who provide care from Vancouver to Salem, and from Hood River to Astoria. History of The Oregon Clinic The Oregon Clinic began in 1994 with the merger of six long-established physician specialty groups. Since its inception, The Oregon Clinic has stressed both physician excellence and collegiality. Our focus on data, evidence, and outcomes coupled with respectful, compassionate service, promotes that excellence. Many of our providers have national and international reputations. All are affiliated with one or more of the Portland-area hospital systems, but are independent practitioners. Most divisions share a common electronic medical record to facilitate continuity of care with each other and with primary care physicians who refer patients to The Oregon Clinic. Our organization continues to grow as a successful physician-owned medical practice with many care delivery sites and hospital affiliations, sharing a solid core of services for billing, human resources, information technology, and general administration. The Oregon Clinic accepts a variety of insurance plans including Medicare and Medicaid, and we are committed to our patients regardless of insurance status. Our multi-specialty services extend from Vancouver to Salem, from Gresham to Beaverton and from Hood River to Astoria.
