Dr. Weisend provides auditory electrophysiological testing, vestibular (balance) and hearing assessments, as well as interpretation and treatment. She is a part-time assistant professor for the Northeast Ohio Au.D Consortium. For the past several years, she has also taught the Functional Anatomy of the Inner Ear class to second year medical students from the Learner College of Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic. Her research interests include anatomy and physiology and vestibular topics. Her research article "The incidence of coexistent autonomic and vestibular dysfunction in patients with postural dizziness" was recently published in the American Journal of Otolaryngology.
